Victoria Police Department- FREE POPAT Information Session
June 24, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 1:30 pmFree
Interested in a career with Vic PD?
If you are considering applying to become a police officer, it is your responsibility to successfully complete the Police Officer Physical Ability Test (POPAT). To be competitive in the application process applicants must strive to obtain a competitive time. The POPAT is a demanding physical test which must be completed in under 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
Join Vic PD’s recruiting sergeant, Sgt Greg Holmes, on June 24 for this fun event to learn more about the application process and the POPAT. Participants will learn the fundamental skills to complete each stage of the POPAT, the mind set one must have when running the test, and the tips that will help you be successful. Each participant will have a hands on opportunity to become familiar with the agility run, the physical control simulator, the vault station, and the weight carry.
Sheepdog Self-Protection Inc test administrators will be on site to walk you through each stage of the test, be available for one on one instruction, and answer any questions you may have regarding training and preparation for the test.
To register select a FREE ticket below.
