Re: Testing: What did we do well? Allowed us to ask questions and play on the equipment for a bit so we could feel comfortable.- Laura

Re: Personal Training. I really liked how Kris pushed you during the workout  and cheered you on. It made the 1 on 1 fun and you wanted to push yourself to do better.  Kris really tryed to make it like the SOPAT during the workout, so you could get an idea. The 1 on 1 training helped be prepare for the SOPAT. It gave me an idea of what I needed to do for each step during the test to pass. I left confident that I would pass and I did pass.- Kevin

Re: Personal Training. The training was fantastic! Frank knew his material and explained / demonstrated clearly what I needed to do. Thank you so much for helping, I would highly recommend Sheepdog to anyone interested in training.- Sarah

Re: Personal Training. I have recently begun training with Sheep Dog Self Protection to prepare to take the POPAT. Through the 1 on 1 sessions I have done so far, I have learnt a lot about technique,  proper training for the POPAT, and tips and tricks about the test. Actually getting to use the push pull machine and practice with it has been a huge help. After only two 1 on 1 sessions, my confidence has gone up, I am seeing improvements, and the push pull machine does not seem daunting like it used to. I am excited to continue my training and am confident that because of it I will pass my POPAT in January.- Erin

Re: Personal Training. I liked that Frank knew how to build my confidence back up to believing I could pass. I came to Sheepdog after having recovered from a traumatic injury and needed a confidence builder. I also liked that Frank pushed me hard enough to force adaptation very quickly but knew exactly how far to push so I could believe I could keep going. I have not passed yet but it took me essentially from the couch to within reach of acceptable time in just 5 weeks. I know I will pass. It’s only a matter of time.- Jessica
Re: Personal Training. I liked that the trainer really cared about my success. He gave me a lot of useful tips and was very encouraging. I took the POPAT with Sheep Dog after not succeeding the first time at a different facility and passed it. The environment made all the difference to me! — Mariam

Re: Personal Training. The personal training session was a great experience! Using the push pull machine was a good reminder to keep up with weight training. Being timed on portions of the testing is something no trainer has offered before. Awesome. — Lori

Re: Testing. I participated in the POPAT in 2018. The first time i was unsuccessful. At the end Kris was very positive and actually suggested workout programs and advice on how to be successful.  I took the advice to heart and followed the program and was successful the second time. This test can be intimidating and everyone is usually nervous prior to the test. Kris and her team do a great job demonstrating each phase of the test as well as going over the rules.  Also during the test they are there instructing you at each cone, each push/pull and each up and over.…Kris and her team are great and the advice given comes from the heart you can really tell that sheep dog wants you to be successful. — Jas
